BANK OF AMERICA SUCKS.
I ordered airline tickets online around ~$1000USD which tripped a filter. That's pretty stupid.
I then received an email fraud alert telling me my card was on hold until I called or logged in. Clicked the link. Followed the prompts but halfway through the exercise the site timed out. Grrrr.
Called the 1-800#, jumped through hoops, verified my identity, and then got put on permahold. Decided to wait and deal with situation later.
ON A DATE -- At dinner the next night I remembered my card was probably on hold. Called customer service. Guy was nice enough, but had NO IDEA what I was talking about. He convinced me it was a phishing email and I had given my SSN to the telephone prompts.
In a panic, I return home expecting to have to deal with having my identity stolen, but turns out the email WAS from you guys, and phone guy couldn't see the alert / didn't know how to look at my history.
Long story short, you guys freak out when I use my card, turn it off, and then cause me stress when I have to turn it back on again. I'll just use my AMEX more often...
